RiminiWellness is one of the largest events in the European Fitness and Health Industry with more than 250,000 visitors, the largest one of its kind in Southern Europe. In the past, the event focussed mainly on Italy and Italian fitness professionals. But as this is a great event for people from all over Europe (and beyond), RiminiWellness and EuropeActive have teamed up to broaden the horizon, making the event accessible and more interesting for participants from other countries.
EuropeActive is the (leading) not-for-profit organisation representing the whole of the European health and fitness sector in Brussels has been selected by RiminiWellness to have the right opportunities to successfully develop both events and events for both larger organisations from the industry as well as for personal trainers, fitness instructors and teachers.
More to see in Rimini
EuropeActive will assist in the organising of two new events at RiminiWellness 2019: a B2B event on 30th of May and the new Personal Trainer Day on 31st of May. The B2B event has ‘Experience the Power of Innovation: how to generate new businesses with modern concepts’ as the theme for 2019. For entrepreneurs, it’s important to act in an innovative way and to still steer towards business. Many organisations are developing new concepts to make (and keep!) the fitness industry successful.
They may be technological developments, it may concern topics that relate to fitness, but were previously ignored or a completely new way of presenting fitness to the consumer, for example Boutique Fitness Clubs or Virtual Reality. Health and Nutrition multinational DSM will present their new inventive concept ‘Personalised Nutrition’ and Marjolijn Meijer, CEO and owner of Trainmore (NL) will discuss their vision on training, where “ the more you train, the less you pay”. Experts and entrepreneurs from both inside and outside the industry will showcase their successes - and failures, because the unbeaten path comes with bumps and cliffs.
Professionals in the lead
As can be picked up from the title, The Personal Trainer Day will focus on the everyday life of a Personal Trainer: how to maximise your potential? How to increase revenue when you are working one-on-one? Which new concepts should enter your training schedule? Where can you find your ideal customer? Both RiminiWellness and EuropeActive believe in these essential fitness experts, striving every day to make more people more active, more often. One of the already confirmed speakers is Alexis Batrakoulis (GR), winner of the 2018 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year Award.
We will keep you updated on these new events in the coming weeks.
