Midterm review of the Digital Single Market Strategy

On May 10th, the European Commission published the mid-term review of the Digital Single Market (DMS) Strategy, which started in May 2015. The Commission has recognised that digital technologies are able to improve people’s health conditions and also contribute to the enhancing of both European’s digital health and healthcare systems.
EuropeActive has already experienced the positive impact of digital technology to promote physical activity. In the framework of the PAHA project, the 55-65 year old participants used accelerometers, the results proved the effectiveness of the tool in making more people, more active, more often.
