An EU project is launching a € 2.4 million competition aimed to wearable technology. This project is looking for inventive teams, able to create ethical, innovative and sustainable solutions for wearable technologies and e-textile ideas.
“We’re not looking for experts in wearables but to help get great ideas off the ground and, set a benchmark for ethics and sustainability in the technology field.” The Senior Researcher and innovation manager Rachel Lasebikan, demonstrated her enthusiasm to present the project set by her university together with six other organisations.
The 48 selected prototypes will be exhibited at the final showcase event in 2018.
