Training Provider Forum 2021 - Implementing an effective online assessment for fitness professionals

EuropeActive hosted on Thursday, 8th April its online Training Provider Forum (TPF) to actively discuss the implementation of assessments by EuropeActive accredited training providers in relation to EuropeActive’s main educational standards. Speakers and panellists shared their knowledge, expertise and insights under the theme of ‘Effective Learner Assessment’ with the aim of raising the standards of training provision and exercise professionals across Europe.

EuropeActive successfully concluded its 20th Annual General Assembly

EuropeActive successfully concluded on April 6th its 20th Annual General Assembly (GA) by hosting an online event with the presence of a remarkable number of members participating in the voting process.

All four resolutions to be voted were successfully passed, and the following new Board Members were elected:

EuropeActive, FIBO Global Fitness and Questex/Sibec will partner for a historical gathering of the fitness and physical activity sector

EuropeActive, FIBO Global Fitness and Questex/Sibec are excited to announce that they are coming together in a 2021 partnership. Sibec Europe will be part of the educational and networking events leading up to FIBO, the leading international trade show for fitness, wellness and health from 4th to 7th November. The common goal is to remove pandemic-related hurdles for the fitness industry and, among other things, to make travel easier again in this transitional year.

International Women’s Day 2021

EuropeActive and WIFA sign MoU to improve gender-equality and inclusion in the fitness and physical activity sector

EuropeActive and the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA) have announced today, 8th March, International Women's Day, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which lays down the terms in which both sector representatives will strengthen their international cooperation to ensure the most positive future in terms of equal opportunities and equal treatment in the fitness and physical activity sector.

Largest gathering of National Fitness Associations agrees that cooperation is the way forward

25 national associations came together as part of EuropeActive’s series of roundtables which are actively planning the future of fitness. European associations were joined by representatives from Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Georgia to form the largest such interest group for three sessions exploring how international cooperation can help lead the sector out of COVID-19, to build political capital and to promote the importance of healthy lifestyles through a cooperative and mutually beneficial approach.
