Sports ministers gathered on 18th May 2021 during the Education, Youth, Culture and Sports Council to discuss topics such as sport innovation and diplomacy, but also the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sport, and the upcoming Healthy Lifestyle 4 All Initiative. Tiago Brandão Rodrigues, the Minister of Education of Portugal, emphasized that sport could play an important role in EU foreign policy.

Youth spaces after COVID-19 - sport in flourishing communities

An online discussion on youth spaces after COVID, with a focus on sport, was co-organised by the European Parliament Sports Group and the UEFA Foundation for Children on 21st April 2021. 
 
In the course of the discussion, MEP Dragos Pislaru reminded the participants that the current crisis is affecting coaches, sports clubs and fitness centers, especially financially, but it is also affecting the population.

WHO Europe organises a three-day Urban design for Health workshop
