EuropeActive attended on 24th and 25th October in Copenhagen the conference organised by Anti-Doping Denmark on “Fitness Doping & Public Health”. EuropeActive shared its knowledge on the topic with more than hundred delegates from Universities, Anti-Doping Agencies, European and National Institutions, International Organisations and Sport Federations.
This was also the occasion to promote two EuropeActive’s EU-funded projects: Forum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport (FAIR), with EuropeActive as project coordinator to fight doping in recreational sport. The Anti-Doping in Football project which aims to be the first educational tool to meet the anti-doping education standardization criteria. EuropeActive is a project partner for Anti-DIF and cooperates to the development of these new standards, especially in respect of grassroots football.
In this regard, EuropeActive created “The European Code of Conduct in Anti-doping for Recreational Sport” which will be officially presented the next 12-13 November during the Forum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport in Brussels.
