With less than one week to go to the official opening of the European Week of Sport on 7th September 2015, things are starting to heat up at EuropeActive. Signed as a partner of the European Commission in December 2014, EuropeActive has since contributed to the European Week of Sport’s goals to promote sport and physical activity across Europe.
Come and join EuropeActive at the Official Opening Ceremony of the European Week of Sport on 7th of September where Nathalie Smeeman, Executive Director EuropeActive is invited on stage to present the association as one of the main partners of this momentus event and will also be among the partners and ambassadors during a Q&A session.
EuropeActive also invites you to the European Sport Village on 7th, 8th and 9thof September at the The square (Rue Mont des Arts) in Brussels. As one of the exhibitors and main partners, EuropeActive will have a stand where staff will be available to present its activities, projects and missions.
As the leading partner of the two Erasmus+ funded projects, ALCIS (Promoting Action Learning for Children in School) and PAHA (Promoting Physical Activity and Health in Ageing), EuropeActive is one of the main contributors to the European Week of Sport’s goal to promote physical activity across Europe, regardless of age, background or fitness level.
Last but not least EuropeActive is also one of the main sponsors of the Run for Employment, an initiative organised by Project 668 and B!ngo, Brussels-based NGOs engaged in youth professional development. The Run for Employment on 13th September sees five runners from the EuropeActive Team joining the competition and proudly representing the association while contributing to raise awareness about youth unemployment in Europe.
