Looking ahead to European Health and Fitness Forum 2017

The 3rd European Health and Fitness Forum came to an end earlier this month, but here at EuropeActive, together with our partners at FIBO, we are already looking ahead to next year’s edition. Following on the immense success of the 2016 edition, we’d like to invite you to join us in Cologne for the 4th European Health and Fitness Forum (EHFF), which will be held as the opening event of FIBO 2017, on 5 April.

To achieve the target of 80 million members of European fitness clubs by 2025, we need to create even stronger connections within the sector. For this reason the 2017 EHFF will focus on 'Consumer Engagement', in addition to latest fitness sector developments.

EHFF 2017 is still months away, but registration is already open. For two consecutive years, the Forum has sold out, with a lengthy waiting list. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you reserve a spot now and take advantage of the early booking rate.

Bookings made before 28 February 2017 take advantage of the 'early bird' rate:

  • Members: €229.00 per delegate
    Non-members €289.00 per delegate

In addition to all forum keynotes and discussions, all delegates will receive two-day access to the FIBO International Trade Show including FIBO EXPERT, FIBO PASSION and FIBO POWER. EHFF also includes a networking reception lunch, coffee breaks and a networking dinner.

This year’s event brought together top experts and almost 400 delegates from 31 countries to discuss the growth of the fitness sector through innovation. Among attendees was Tibor Navracsics, the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, who highlighted the important role that events such as EHFF can play in getting more Europeans to be more physically active:

“We need to create new opportunities for people to move more and in ways  that are adapted to their needs. Innovation in the health and fitness sector is an important lead in helping us to make this possible. The European Union and EuropeActive share the same goals and we would very much like to continue the collaboration.”
