The España Activa Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the practice of physical activity in society, involving in a transversal way all the actors and organizations involved in this struggle: "Sport, a matter of State." All citizens are suffering from the new habits of sedentary life. The increase in obesity and sedentary lifestyle are causing the increase of more than 35 diseases of different kinds, such as cardiovascular, cardiorespiratory, diabetes, hypertension, among others.
To fight against this trend we want to promote sport and physical activity as a way to add health to people, promote all the necessary policies to facilitate access to physical activity and disseminate to society the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.
