Developing the roles to deliver Exercise as Medicine post-C19
During the Covid-19 crisis, the recognition by governments across Europe of the value of exercise in strengthening immunity and general well-being has never been greater. We must continue to develop the educational pathways and occupational roles that will ensure that fitness professionals are effectively equipped to deliver exercise to at risk populations. This webinar will look at some of the great work taking place at a European and at a global level to establish higher level, clinically-focused occupational roles within our sector. Gain an insight into the Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) role developed by Exercise and Sports Science Australia, the ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist role in the US and the ongoing work within Europe to develop comparable roles.
