Det er endnu en streg i regningen for et hårdt prøver erhverv. Men det er værd at glæde sig over, at myndighederne anerkender den værdi, som fitness har som danskernes foretrukne motionsform.

SafeACTiVE Study – Preliminary results showing extremely low levels of Covid-19 risk in fitness clubs

EuropeActive, the leading voice and non-profit association for the European fitness and physical activity sector, is pleased to announce that preliminary data collected by King Juan Carlos University and AWRC-Sheffield Hallam University reveals extremely low levels of Covid-19 risk in fitness clubs and leisure facilities. Fitness and leisure sector continues close monitoring of COVID-19 rates in UK gyms and leisure facilities

Hundreds more gyms and leisure centres across the UK have submitted data on COVID-19 rates in their facilities, as the sector rises to the challenge of monitoring and controlling the virus. More than 1,900 facilities have now provided information to ukactive on the number of cases reported by authorities on behalf of customers that have visited their sites during a 14-day period in which they subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Amper coronabesmettingen in fitnessclubs volgens sector

In de Belgische fitnessclubs zijn er per 100.000 bezoeken slechts 0,32 positieve gevallen van COVID-19 vastgesteld sinds de heropening van de clubs in juni. Dat meldt de sector zondag op basis van een bevraging. De cijfers zijn volgens de sector bovendien in lijn met de resultaten van onderzoeken wereldwijd.

Amper besmettingen met COVID-19 virus in fitnessclubs

Sinds de heropening van de fitnessbranche op 1 juli dit jaar zijn er amper besmettingen met het COVID-19 virus bij fitnessconsumenten en -professionals vastgesteld. Geen enkele club bleek de voorbije drie maanden een besmettingsbron of brandhaard van een uitbraak. Dat blijkt uit een peiling van NL Actief onder haar leden.
