The 13th International Standards Meeting (ISM)
will be held on the 3rd and 4th November this year in the beautiful city of Prague. This first live ISM for 2 years provides the perfect opportunity for all stakeholders in the professionalisation of the European fitness and physical activity workforce to meet and reconnect with colleagues and friends in an informative, stimulating and interactive atmosphere.
The ISM is a yearly event of EuropeActive, organised for training providers, national associations, employers and other stakeholders in the field of fitness and physical activity education from all over Europe. This year’s theme reflects the need to come together following some of the most critically transformative years in our industry’s history to rethink, rebuild and renew our sector and the Standards that underpin it.
This year’s programme will include thought-provoking presentations from Dr. Paul Bedford, ‘The Retention Guru’ on the The Skills Trainers Need to Support Retention of Clients and Dr. Silvano Zanuso, Technogym’s Scientific and Research Manager on digitally connecting the health and fitness sector. Anna Szumilevicz of the EuropeActive Professional Standards Committee will also facilitate interactive sessions on Standards development from health coaches to Pilates teachers and will be keen to receive input and guidance.
