Between 16 March and 7 Novembers, DSSV will offer 5 sessions of health prevention courses for gym operators approved by the Central Testing Centre for Prevention: ‘Cardio-Fitness’ for cardio training and ‘Kraft Aktiv’ for strength training.

In Germany, health insurances in Germany must promote health and prevention. Therefore, in accordance the law, course fees for these “prevention courses” are partially or fully reimbursed.

The output appears to be encouraging, as 67,6% of respondents said the overall development of their company was favourable in the second half of last year.

Mar 7, 2023 - Spain

Spain Active proposed 5 measures to counter obesity.

More than 60% of the country’s population is overweight, according to the WHO European Regional Obesity Report 2022. Jaime Lissavetzky, Spain Active’s President, stressed that this was a “public health issue” and urged national authorities to enhance efforts on the matter.
