On Thursday 7th May, the Norwegian Football Federation organised the third partner meeting of the Anti-Doping in Football Erasmus Plus Project. The meeting was also attended by representative of the UEFA anti-doping and project departments.
The meeting focused on:
- the results of the survey on the use of doping in recreational football in different European countries thanks to the support of several National Antidoping Agencies.
- the training materials, in the form of videos, for players related to the risk of doping substances. Materials will be tested by football clubs in the partners countries this summer.
- the creation of guidelines and a code of conduct for coaches and football players.
All the materials are available here https://ipslab.gr/keepfootballclean/
EuropeActive, as project partner, to disseminate the project outcomes will organise next autumn in collaboration with UEFA an event in Brussels. The latter will depend on the Covid-19 restrictive measures in place.
EuropeActive is also coordinating another Erasmus Plus project on doping
