The day after the European Health & Fitness Forum 2022 and alongside the FIBO Trade Show kick off, our team was busy with several events taking place on the same day!
Training Provider Forum (TPF)
The day started with our educational services team hosting the Training Provider Forum. EuropeActive Accredited Training Providers were invited to come and discuss changes to accreditation and re-accreditation processes which had recently been updated following feedback. They also delved into the developments accelerated by the pandemic related to the delivery and assessment of educational programmes, with particular reference to the online elements of education and the minimum requirements expected.
President’s Council Summit
Meanwhile, as part of the FIBO Futute Forum, EuropeActive hosted the President’s Council Summit, an exclusive luncheon with members of the President’s Council for Operators (PCO) and the President’s Council for Suppliers, Digital & Tech (PCSDT), who came together to talk about the main challenges and business opportunities for the sector moving forward.
The European Fitness Associations Forum (EFAF)
Last but not least, EuropeActive brought together its national assocation partners for the European Fitness Association Forum to discuss, among other things, the fiscal incentives for physical activity, having our sector recognized as essential, the European Data Hub and advice for launching a new national association.
