The Anti-doping in Football project, supported by UEFA and iNADO, had its kick-off meeting on Thursday 14th February 2019 in Oslo at the Norwegian Football Association headquarters. Partners discussed the different actions which are going to take place in the next two years in order to have a clearer picture of the doping phenomenon in the European amateur football and to provide local clubs with guidelines on how to combat the issue.
EuropeActive has been invited to join this project for its ten years commitment in anti-doping in recreational sport projects. EuropeActive will be in charge of promoting the project among European Institutions and the International doping actors (WADA, Council of Europe, IOC, etc). In this regard, events will be organised together with UEFA for an effective dissemination of the project outcomes and to investigate the possibility to enlarge the collaboration on this field with other sport.
