Last week, the EuropeActive team participated in several project partner meetings and engaged with its partners to continue the valuable work of promoting physical activity through its European Erasmus+ Collaborative Partnership projects.

On the 20th and 21st October, EuropeActive coordinated a physical meeting for the final partner meeting of the National Fitness Day for Europe project in Lisbon, Portugal. The project partners, Ireland Active, ukactive, SIGA, TAKT, Georgia Active, UAactive, BHactive and Portugal Activo, met for the last time to review the results of this year’s campaign and the overall project.

During the 2-day meeting, partners presented their BEACTIVE DAY campaign results and events that took place in their respective countries during the European Week of Sport 2021. They engaged in fruitful discussions as the project is approaching its end in December and discussed the sustainability of the project, the continuation of the well-established partnerships between the EU and non-EU partners, as well as the growth of the BEACTIVE DAY campaign in the future.

Another partner meeting took place on the 21st and 22nd October, in Spain, for the EUMOVE project. EuropeActive, in charge of disseminating the project results, participated on-line and presented its work and network. The EUMOVE project, coordinated by University of Extremadura, aims to develop educational materials to promote Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles in and out of school environments.
