EuropeActive’s vision is to be the leading European voice for the fitness and physical activity sector to get more people, more active, more often. We aim to achieve this vision by arranging key industry events to share ideas and to help inspire better business and entrepreneurship. After FIBO announced that they will not run as a live event as hoped, but as an all-digital event for 2020, we have adapted our plans around these now-virtual FIBO days.
The European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF) -Wednesday, 30th September 2020 – has always been our flagship event for operators, employers, national associations, suppliers and other key stakeholders in the fitness and physical activity sector. This year it will be held as a hybrid event - partly online/virtual and partly on-site with interesting speakers, around 50 physical participants, around the theme ‘Where do we go from here?’ as it is one of the most-asked questions in this post-C19 world.
During the event, we’ll also introduce our strategy for 2025 and present an industry manifesto centred around health, digital and community (ESG) to be signed by all sector representatives who physically attended EHFF. Immediately after EHFF, the inaugural meeting of the President’s Council of operators’ CEOs will kick-off followed by a networking dinner for all EHFF participants.
The second European Fitness Associations Forum (EFAF) -Thursday, 1st October 2020- will take place in Cologne with our national associations partners to continue the excellent work that has been done with them during the Covid-19 lockdown this spring.
Don’t forget to follow us on social media and stay tuned on EuropeActive’s FIBO week 2020!
