EuropeActive launched its new President’s Council for Suppliers, Digital & Tech

On Wednesday, 14th April, EuropeActive officially launched and hosted the inaugural meeting of its new President’s Council for Suppliers, Digital & Tech (PCSDT). The Council is an important initiative under the European trade association’s strategic plan for 2020 - 2021. The main purpose of the PCSDT is to inform and strengthen EuropeActive’s strategic decision-making and support for our sector's reopening, recovery and renewal during and beyond Covid-19.

EuropeActive successfully concluded its 20th Annual General Assembly

EuropeActive successfully concluded on April 6th its 20th Annual General Assembly (GA) by hosting an online event with the presence of a remarkable number of members participating in the voting process.

All four resolutions to be voted were successfully passed, and the following new Board Members were elected:

EuropeActive and ukactive sign Memorandum of Understanding for an Active Alliance to enhance mutual collaboration

EuropeActive and ukactive have today 3rd February announced a new agreement which will see the sector bodies continue to work together closely following Britain’s exit from the EU.

ukactive CEO Huw Edwards and EuropeActive Executive Director Andreas Paulsen signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the organisations’ joint mission of improving physical activity levels through the support and development of the sector.

FIBO and EuropeActive extend partnership for another three years

Two major players in the European fitness industry will continue to work closely together for the coming years. EuropeActive, the leading voice and non-profit association representing the European fitness and physical activity sector, and FIBO, the leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Health, have agreed to extend their partnership for another three years. The focus of the cooperation is to strengthen the fitness industry.
