#BEACTIVE DAY Conference celebrates outstanding campaign results across Europe

EuropeActive and its national associations partners came together on Thursday, 1st December to discuss the results and impact of the 2022 campaign at the #BEACTIVE DAY conference held in Brussels. The 2022 #BEACTIVE DAY campaign proved to be a growing success with 3,876 events organised across Europe involving an impressive 701,695 participants from all over the continent. #BEACTIVE DAY also had a strong presence on social media, generating a reach of over 3.2 million people.

EuropeActive launches Green Audit project to address sustainability in fitness and sport clubs

On Wednesday 1 June, a new Erasmus+ funded project entitled “Green Audit for Sport and Fitness clubs” was officially launched by EuropeActive. 
 
The project aims to develop a comprehensive green audit tool for fitness and sport stakeholders in order to help them assess their current carbon footprint and support them in reducing it. The scheme will be piloted by 30 clubs in 5 countries (DE, ES, IE, NL, PT) before being made available to the wider fitness and physical activity sector.

New Health Project Partners meet at Sport Science School of Rio Maior, Portugal

The New Health 2022 Project partners met on 24th and 25th March at the Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior (ESDRM), Portugal, to discuss the on-going creation, implementation and dissemination of the New Health Programme.
